Equip-MBS Master of Divinity (90 Credit Points)
Overview
Equip’s Master of Divinity program prepares students for a lifetime of faithful gospel ministry in both local church and para-church organizations. The degree aims to deepen understanding of the Christian faith. This course is interdisciplinary and rigorous, combining biblical languages, biblical studies, church history, systematic theology and Christian ethics.
In addition to solid biblical scholarship, the program also includes practical courses that nurture a student’s spiritual, personal and vocational formation, and an internship to help students integrate and apply their studies.

Internship
Internship are either a 6 week full-time or 8 month part-time placement in a church/ministry approved by Equip and MBS. Students are trained and involved in some kind of ministry during this internship. Internships are compulsory but do not attract any credit. For link to form see www.new.equip.org.my/forms/
Ordination
The Master of Divinity degree prepares students for the ordination process in many denominations. It is NOT NECESSARY for students to pursue ordination in order to complete the Master of Divinity.
Credit Transfer
Any subjects completed under other Equip-MBS Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor or Masters Courses may be counted towards the Master of Divinity provided that the student obtains at least a Credit (for Certificate Pool Subjects) or pass (for Degree Pool Subjects and General Pool Subjects) for their final mark.

Before being accepted into this course, students will be required to complete an application form and attend an interview with Equip.
