Equip partners with Malaysia Bible Seminar to deliver quality accredited degree level courses in Malaysia.
Malaysia Bible Seminary (MBS) is an evangelical, interdenominational seminary dedicated to the preparation of men and women to serve God and His Church. It seeks to fulfil its commitment through biblical and theological education, ministerial and professional development, and personal and spiritual formation. MBS strives for excellence in the service of Jesus Christ, under the authority of the Holy Scriptures, the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit, to the glory of God the Father.
The bilingual MBS of today was formed in 1978 through the merger of the English-language Pusat Latihan Kristian Melaka (PLKM) and the Chinese-language MBS. The seminary has two departments, English and Chinese, under the governance of one Council and one administration. Each language constituency is recognised as different and as such, each department is autonomous in its educational philosophy and approach so as to serve its respective constituencies effectively.
The Mission of MBS is:
- To cultivate able workers for pastoral, missionary and other Christian work in local and international churches, thereby promoting the evangelical movement and the establishment of Christian churches.
- To further the extension of the kingdom of God in all places.

Equip partners with the KVBC Trust to organise the annual Klang Valley Pastors Seminar.
The Klang Valley Bible Conference (KVBC) Trust (formerly known as the Kuala Lumpur Christian Conference)was formed in 1997 with a single purpose: to encourage godliness through expository Bible teaching.
In 1999, KVBC Trust together with Evangel Book Centre organised the first Klang Valley Bible Conference (KVBC). This conference has since become an annual platform for faithful Bible exposition, featuring gifted servants of the Word from around the world such as D.A. Carson, David Cook, David Jackman, Bryan Chapell, Michael Raiter and John Woodhouse. Expository Preaching Seminar (EPS) was later introduced in conjunction with the annual conference to further equip pastors, preachers and leaders in their teaching ministries. EPS seeks to encourage and strengthen Christian leaders in an aspect of expository preaching. The ministry has now expanded to Ipoh (Ipoh Bible Conference and Expository Preaching Seminars) and Penang (Penang Bible Conference and Expository Preaching Seminars).
KVBC Trust ministries can be grouped under three categories:
- KVBC Conferences: Bible conferences and training seminars characterised by a robust commitment to expound the whole Bible in the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- The Centre for Expository Preaching, CEP: Preaching courses, seminars and preaching groups to help practitioners sharpen their Bible handling and preaching skills.
- KVBC NextGen: NextGen is focused on youth leaders, to better equip them in living the Christian life, teaching the gospel, and in bringing up leaders of their generation.

Equip offers a Certificate in Theology based on content made available by Moore Theological College through its Centre for Global Mission. Since 1856, Moore College has been providing in-depth theological training in order to prepare men and women as thoroughly and effectively as possible for Christian ministry and mission. A feature of Moore’s reformed and evangelical theology is the emphasis on Biblical theology, which amongst other things helps us to discern that the Bible is a unity focused on the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. For over 70 years Moore College has been producing content for use in Distance Education courses based on this theology. That content has now been translated into many languages and is used throughout the world.
Equip uses the Moore College content as the foundation for our Certificate in Theology. Equip’s Certificate in Theology allows students to study individually or in a group and at their own pace, sitting for an exam at the end of the term which is credited towards their Certificate. Equip recommends study in groups and provides groups and teachers to help you get the most out of the course.
